Where to Enter the Voucher Code

The most confusing aspect of entering a voucher code is knowing where to enter it. The confusion usually arises surrounding the difference between the voucher code box and a box designed to enter an online gift card or gift certificate code. It is not the gift certificate box, which some people confuse the coupon code box with. This is for gift cards or gift certificates, and is not the place to enter coupon codes.

Terms such as "promotional code" and "discount" box are the terms which you should keep your eyes peeled for. Retailers which offer voucher codes understand that shoppers frequently confuse the difference and as a result, make sure that the place to enter the voucher code is clearly marked.

Once you have entered the voucher code, you will either be able to click on a box that allows the code to be applied to your order, or once you click on the continue button at the bottom of the page, your code will be reflected on your order on the next page. The value of the voucher code will be subtracted from the total costs after you enter the code and proceed to the next page.
